This house is perfect for couples, honeymooners, two couples traveling together or a small family desiring a quiet retreat. This house is only a 40 minute drive from Acadia National Park on Mount Desert Island or 15 minutes from Acadia’s scenic Schoodic Peninsula in Winter Harbor, with its crashing surf shores and raw beauty.
![]() ![]() The house accommodates 5 guests in its main house and 2 in the adjoining guest cottage. The main house has two queen size beds in its east and west bedrooms and a twin bed in its smaller back bedroom.
The house also has two full baths, an oceanside deck which extends the full length of the front of the house, a middle sunset sitting room and living room with center fireplace. The house also has a quaint dining area and well equipped kitchen with prep island and dishwasher.
![]() The house also includes all linens, washer, dryer, firewood, cookware, place settings, utensils, lobster pot, charcoal grill, phone, satellite TV with DVD player and high speed Internet.
The guest cottage features a bedroom with two twin beds and full bath. All linens are included with the guest cottage.
Freshwater fishing abounds in this area with its myriad of crystal clear granite based lakes and cool clear water streams. Whether guests are experienced or amateur anglers, this region has easily found fishing for eager biters of smallmouth bass, largemouth bass, brook trout, landlocked salmon, lake trout, chain pickerel and white perch. So bring your canoe, kayak or small fishing boat as you won’t want to miss these terrific fishing opportunities on your vacation to this area. This house rents for the beginning of May to the end of October. The house requires a 50% reservation deposit with the remainder payment due 30 days prior to arrival along with a $500.00 damage deposit. Dogs are allowed but smoking is not permitted at the house or guest cottage.
Rental fees (per week): The guest cottage is available for an additional $200 a week.
