This 6,000 square foot, 3 level home is perfect for honeymooners, large families or families traveling together and boasts 4½ baths, 1 king and 3 queen size beds, a spacious great room with center granite fireplace, large formal dining room with lake views, cathedral living room and a gourmet style kitchen.

On the lower level the house features a master suite with full master bath, large glass shower, whirlpool tub and family room with large screen TV plus a billiards room.

The main or mid level of the house features the aforementioned kitchen, formal dining area, great room with fireplace, large step out grilling patio plus lake view breakfast nook and two spacious guest rooms with queen size beds and attached full baths.

The third level boasts another master size bedroom with queen size bed and spectacular lake view balcony that is perfect for morning coffee relaxing or evening lake watching as the sun sets. Also on the third level there is a spacious full bath plus a child’s playroom.

The house also features high speed Internet, 4 satellite TV’s, DVD players, washer, dryer, dishwasher, all linens, cookware, place settings, child’s crib, 3 kayaks, canoe, firewood, gas grill and phone.

Long Pond, at 900 acres in size, is Mount Desert Island’s largest freshwater lake. Most of this granite based, gin clear lake is bordered by Acadia National Park and is undeveloped except for its lakeshore hiking trails and carriage paths. Long Pond rests between Acadia National Park’s Beech and Western Mountains and guests from the Bar Harbor Lake House are only a few minutes drive or boat ride from trail heads as well as from the short scenic hike at Beech Cliffs over looking Echo Lake.

From the Lake House’s dock, waterfront patio, dining room, living room and master bedroom, guests have commanding lake views. This glamorous house is only 100 feet from the lake’s edge and sunbathing, swimming, fishing, kayaking and canoeing on this pristine water is fantastic.

Vacationers here will enjoy fishing for landlocked salmon and smallmouth bass that grow to large sizes in the lake. The house comes with a canoe and three kayaks so that guests can enjoy glorious paddles to lakeside trails and quiet fishing holes.

Picture yourself in front of the great room fireplace, relaxing and listening to the crackle of the fire and loons calling on the lake. This house is approximately 1 hour from Bangor International Airport. It is also 3½ hours from Portland, 5 hours from Boston and 9 hours from New York City.
