Renters also love the house’s close proximity to Downeast Maine’s finest oceanside hiking trails: the Cutler Coast Trail and the Western Head Trail. These trails give hikers a marvelous view of the rock-bound coast that Maine is so famous for. This house is also convenient to the deep water port town of Eastport, with whale watching and deep sea fishing as well as schooner tours. Canada’s Campobello Island is only 25 minutes away and the island’s Roosevelt House is a must see along with East Quoody Head Lighthouse where you can often see whales off its crashing surf.
It also features two full baths, ocean view great room with living and dinning areas, kitchen, morning coffee porch and grilling terrace. The house also comes with cookware, place settings, utensils, microwave, linens, washer, dryer, dishwasher, satellite TV, DVD and outdoor gas grill.
Rental Fees (per week): $400 refundable security deposit for damage/excessive cleaning costs. Pets and smoking are not permitted in the house. The Boldcoast Beach House is 25 minutes from Machias, Lubec and Campobello Island. It is also 2 hours from Ellsworth and 2 hours and 15 minutes from Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park. The house is also 2½ hours from Bangor International Airport, 1 hour from Calais and St. Stephen, Canada and 5½ hours from Portland. The house is also 6½ hours from Boston and 10½ hours from New York City.
