Vacationers can either rent these houses separately or together, but they can not be rented by two separate parties (separate meaning a group of people not related to your party) at the same time. Either way, these houses are placed on a four acre slice of heaven and this oasis awaits families or couples dreaming of a classic Maine crashing surf getaway!

Within relatively short distances from these houses are coastal hikes at Great Wass Island and at McClellan Park in Milbridge. Interior mountain hikes at Catherine’s and Tunk Mountains in Township 10.

Fine dining restaurants await in Machias as well as terrific seafood at eateries in Jonesport and Milbridge, which also feature the local color. Good fishing abounds in the lakes around the Machias and Cherryfield areas or you can fish for trout in one of the nearby streams.

Antique shops dot the many area coastal villages and Machias has a number of interesting shops for guests to explore. A little further away in Cutler, Hearts of Maine recommends the coastal sightseeing and Atlantic Puffin tours aboard the Barbara Frost with Captain Andy Patterson. We also highly recommend the whale watching and schooner cruises with Captain Butch Harris on the Sylvina Beal out of Eastport.
