Nestled along the shores of Boyden Lake in Perry, Maine, the Cranberry Cottage has three bedrooms and offers the warmth of two fireplaces and a charming knotty pine interior.

It is situated in a cozy and private setting that is wonderful for families. From the spacious wraparound deck there are ramps and steps which lead down to the lake shore and to the floating dock for swimming, boating and fishing. The Cranberry Cottage offers a wide assortment of watercraft including two canoes, a kayak and a 9 foot row boat.

Boyden Lake is lightly developed and offers terrific swimming, fishing, boating and wildlife viewing opportunities. There are several nesting loons in the area as well as kingfishers, pileated woodpeckers and many other species of birds. Around the point from the cottage, a pair of bald eagles nest in the spring and fledge their young in August. The fishermen in the group will enjoy angling for smallmouth bass, largemouth bass, white perch, chain pickerel and landlocked salmon.

The cottage has three bedrooms and two full baths. The master bedroom comes complete with a queen size bed, fireplace and private master bath. It also has a bay window seat offering a lovely water view. The guest bedrooms have two twin beds and a double bed. The cottage also features a screened in porch and spacious deck with outdoor gas grill and comfy outdoor furniture. The cottage includes satellite TV, VCR, phone, washer, dryer, firewood, linens, outdoor shower and office nook.

The Cranberry Cottage is only 12 miles away from the seaside village of Eastport with its many ocean vistas, restaurants, and maritime excursions. From Eastport visitors can take the ferry to Canada's Deer Island, and from there board a ferry to mainland Canada. Campobello Island, also part of New Brunswick, Canada, is reachable either by ferry or a 40 minute drive, where visitors can tour the historic summer home and grounds of Franklin D. Roosevelt, now an international park.

Other notable parks close by include Cobscook Bay State Park and Moosehorn National Wildlife Refuge.

Rental Fees (per week):
May 31 - June 28: $650
June 28 - August 30: $1,200
August 30 - October 11: $750

Rental Terms: 50% reservation deposit required.
Balance due 30 days prior to arrival.
$400 refundable security deposit is due along with remainder payment for damage/excessive cleaning costs.
Check-in 3:00 PM Saturday, check-out 10:00 AM the following Saturday.
Dogs are welcome but smoking is not permitted.
