This cottage sits only 100 feet from the water and has marvelous ocean views from almost every room. The spacious, sunny and bright great room has large water side windows and glassed in gable peaks allowing the essence of the sea and sun to stream in.

The cottage boasts 2 water view bedrooms and a sleeping loft, plus 2 full baths. The master bedroom features pleasing ocean views, a plush king size bed and spacious master bath, while the guest room and sleeping loft also have ocean views, a queen size bed and 2 twin beds.

The great room also offers comfortable furnishings including a piano, cable TV, DVD/VCR and CD/radio player. Another wonderful aspect of the cottage is its large open kitchen with granite counters, breakfast bar and new stainless appliances, including a dishwasher.

The great room also features an open 6 seat dining area, ocean views and easy step-out grilling deck. Other cottage amenities include laundry room with washer and dryer, outdoor gas grill, linens and phone.

This cottage is just a few miles drive from the breathtaking shoreline and crashing surf at Acadia National Park's Schoodic Peninsula, and the scenic hikes at Black, Caribou and Schoodic Mountains. The cottage is also only 45 minutes from Mount Desert Island's Acadia and Bar Harbor.

The cottage is available from May to September.

Rental Fees (per week):
May 31 - June 28: $1,000
June 28 - August 30: $1,600
August 30 - September 27: $1,000

Rental Terms: 50% reservation deposit required.
Balance due 30 days prior to arrival.
$400 refundable deposit due along with remainder payment for damage/excessive cleaning costs.
Check-in 3:00 PM Saturday, check-out 10:00 AM the following Saturday.
Smoking and pets are not permitted.

Arrive by car- Gouldsboro is 300 miles from Boston, 500 miles from NYC. Arrive by plane - the Hancock County-Bar Harbor Airport is just 30 minutes from the cottage (fly via US Airways); Bangor International Airport is just 60 minutes away.
