Robin's Nest is a spacious home nestled in a private forest setting in the Cow Point area of Roque Bluffs, Maine. It features privacy, large rooms and a wonderful tree top ocean view from its glassed-in cupola and surround walkway.
The house boasts three spacious bedrooms and 3½ baths. Its master bedroom suite has a queen size bed, attached yoga room and private master bath with whirlpool tub. Its main guest bedroom has 1 queen and two twin beds and an attached bath. Its first floor guest bedroom has a queen size bed and an attached bath.
The house comes with screened-in porch, grilling deck, granite counter kitchen with breakfast bar and half bath, dining room, living room, high speed Internet access, satellite TV, VCR, washer, dryer, dishwasher, linens and phone.
This house is only 1½ miles from Roque Bluffs State Park with its ¼ mile sandy beach, freshwater fishing pond and hiking trails. The Park's pond (Simpson's Pond) is stocked annually with both brown trout and brook trout, making for some great fishing opportunities.
The house is also only 15 minutes from Machias with its shopping, restaurants, University pool and fitness center. There are also many featured hikes nearby including Cutler's Bold Coast and Western Head Trails as well as Great Wass Island's Nature Conservancy trails.
Rental Fees (per week):
May 26 - July 7: $700
July 7 - August 18: $900
August 18 - September 22: $700
Rental Terms: 50% reservation deposit required.
Balance due 30 days prior to arrival.
$500 refundable deposit due along with remainder payment for damage/excessive cleaning costs.
Check-in 3:00 PM Saturday, Check-out 10:00 AM the following Saturday. Pets are welcome but smoking is not permitted.
Arrive by car (Roque Bluffs is 500 miles from Boston, 700 miles from NYC) or arrive by plane. Bangor International Airport is 120 minutes away and Portland Jetport is 4½ hours away.
