This quaint and cozy 2 bedroom, 2 full bath getaway is situated on one of Washington County’s most scenic peninsulas and has wonderful ever-changing tidal views.

One of the nicest features of this cottage is its screened in waterside patio that allows its guests to relax, sit back and enjoy the cool ocean breezes while taking in the water views in a bug free environment.

The cottage also boasts a water view dining area, comfortable living room with woodstove, 2 full baths, well equipped kitchen, master bedroom with queen size bed and guest room with twin and double beds.

It also includes comfortable TV room with satellite television, high speed Internet, washer, dryer, firewood, gas grill, all linens, cook-ware, utensils and place settings. This cottage also allows both dogs and cats.

For the adventurous guest this area has some of the best outdoor experiences that Maine has to offer with many sea kayaking routes to paddle, hikes on Tunk, Catherine’s, Black, Caribou and Schoodic Mountains, coastal jaunts at McClellan Park, Petite Manan Wildlife Refuge and Acadia’s Schoodic Peninsula or freshwater fishing on some of the area’s remote lakes and ponds such Tunk Lake, Long Pond, Spring River Lake, Tilden Pond, Rainbow Pond and Anderson Pond.

Swimmers will also love this area for its beautiful freshwater lake beaches at Tunk Lake, Spring River Lake and Long Pond.

For the more passive vacationer, the Milbridge area offers quaint fishing villages with delectable restaurants, small shops, antique stores, boat tours and a wonderful old time movie theater. Whatever your interest, this terrific area will not disappoint vacationers looking for the real Maine experience.

The house is 1½ hours east of Bangor and the Bangor International Airport, 4½ hours northeast of Portland, 5½ hours from Boston and 10½ hours from New York City. The house is also 1 hour from Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park, and 1½ hours from Eastport and 1 hour from Lubec and Campobello Island.

The house rents from Saturday to Saturday.
A 50% reservation deposit is required to reserve the cottage.
Balance due 30 days prior to arrival.
A $500.00 refundable security deposit is required along with remainder payment for damage/excessive cleaning costs.
No extra cleaning fees or pet fees are required.
Check-in time 3:00 PM and check-out time 10:00 AM the following Saturday

The cottage welcomes dogs and cats but smoking is not permitted.
