The house’s sandy beach is a perfect spot to launch sea kayaks and explore the inner bays and off shore islands.

This house is positioned in the middle of some the most amazing coastal hiking opportunities the Maine coast has to offer. Hiking trails such as the Boldcoast and Western Head trails located in Cutler are only 30 minutes away. These spectacular hikes are second to none with their high cliffs and crashing surf. There are also wonderful hikes on the Nature Conservancy trails on Great Wass Island in Beals (just a short drive), as well as the Roque Bluffs State Park trail located only 1 mile from the house.

Also in this area of Maine there are many quaint fishing villages with antique shops, restaurants and friendly people. Visitors to this area love the ability to stop by a local village lobster pound and buy lobsters that are fresh in from the boats.

The house itself features 5 bedrooms with 1 king, 2 queen and 2 twin beds as well as 2½ baths. The house has a formal dining room, living room with wide screen satellite TV, kitchen and quiet front porch.

The house also features a water view deck with picnic table, gas grill and lounge chairs. The house also includes all linens, cookware, place settings, phone, washer, dryer and dishwasher.

$400 refundable security deposit for damage/excessive cleaning costs. The house allows only dogs under 20 lbs. Smoking is not permitted.

The house is 10 minutes from Machias, 1½ hours from Ellsworth, 2 hours from Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park and 2 hours from Bangor International Airport.

The house is also 1 hour from Lubec, Eastport, Campobello Island, Calais and St. Stephen, Canada.

Portland is 5 hours away, Boston is a 6 hour drive and New York City is 10 hours away.
