The cottage will accommodate 4 to 5 people with it's king size bed in the master bedroom, two twin beds in the guest room, and fold-out couch in the walkout basement. This cottage has a wonderful, cathedral ceiling living and dining area, breakfast bar, a large, fully equipped kitchen, one full bath, and 2 sliding glass doors which open on to a spacious front deck overlooking the lake.
Children especially enjoy wading the sandy bottomed water searching for frogs while older teens and adults enjoy paddling the shores in the kayaks. If fishing is your passion, Bog Lake is home to a variety of fish species such as landlocked salmon, brown trout, smallmouth bass, white perch, and chain pickerel.
$400 refundable security deposit for damage/excessive cleaning costs. Linens included, pets welcome, no smoking.

The Sandy Cove Cottage located in Northfield, Maine, is a newly built, contemporary cottage in a quiet setting on beautiful, crystal clear Bog Lake. It features a wonderful swimming area, dock, 2 kayaks, paddle boat, detached lake-side patio with picnic table, fire pit, and large lawn (great for outdoor games). The cottage also features a satellite TV, VCR, CD player, washer, dryer, and gas grill.
