The Sea Ledges House is situated at the tip of Gouldsboro Point and offers its guests the tranquility of a quiet waterfront setting while only being 40 minutes away from Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park.
For a closer taste of Acadia vacationers at this house can travel 15 minutes to the dramatic crashing surf at Acadia’s Schoodic Point location in nearby Winter Harbor, or it’s a 20 minute drive to climb Schoodic, Black and Caribou Mountains on Maine’s Public Reserve Lands in Sullivan.
The Sea Ledges House is a spacious and airy home that features an open great room with center field-stone fireplace surrounded by comfortable living room furniture, satellite TV with DVD player and an array of windows to watch the ever changing seascapes.
The great room also boasts an ocean view dining room with seating for 8.
The 4 bedrooms feature a downstairs ocean view master bedroom with queen size bed, master bath and deck access. The 3 guest bedrooms are located up-stairs and have 1 queen, 1 double and 3 twin beds along with a guest bathroom.
The house also includes a fully equipped kitchen with all cook-ware, place settings, utensils and dishwasher. The house also boasts a large lawn for lawn games, large front deck with picnic table, charcoal grill and comfortable deck furniture.
Big bonuses which this house offers are: two bicycles and a tandem sea kayak with paddles and life jackets plus easy launching area in front of the house. Also included at this house is all the bed and bath linens, firewood, satellite TV, washer, dryer and phone.
Area activities in this part of Maine include hiking the Petit Manan Coastal Wildlife Refuge trails in Steuben, visiting the pink granite shores at McClellan Park in Milbridge, exploring the crashing surf at Acadia National Park’s Schoodic Peninsula in Winter Harbor, hiking Schoodic, Black, Caribou and Catherine’s Mountains on the Maine Bureau of Parks & Lands in Sullivan and day tripping to Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park on Mount Desert Island. The children will enjoy the zoo, waterslides, mini golf and go-cart rides in Trenton and the Whale watching trips from Bar Harbor.
This house is 15 minutes from Acadia’s Schoodic Peninsula and 40 minutes from Bar Harbor and the main portion of Acadia National Park. The house is also 1 hour from Bangor International Airport, 3 hours from the Portland JetPort, 5 hours from Boston and 8½ hours from New York City.
This house rents from Saturday to Saturday.
Requires a 50% reservation deposit to reserve the house.
Requires a $500 refundable damage deposit that is due along with the remainder payment 30 days prior to arrival.
This house can accommodate 9 people (adults plus children).
Pets and smoking are not permitted.
