This newly built three bedroom, pet friendly cottage, located on the shore of Bog Lake in Northfield, is one of our most private and secluded lakefront hideaways.

Our guests enjoy the lake's crystal clear water which offers wonderful fishing, swimming, and boating opportunities. The cottage comes with a 16-foot Old Town canoe and a 10-foot Old Town Loon kayak. There is also a boat launching area at the cottage for those who would like to bring their own small motorized craft. To help preserve the quiet and tranquility of the lake, jets are prohibited.

In the summer there is very good fishing for smallmouth bass and white perch and, in the spring and fall, brown trout and landlocked salmon are also caught.

This cottage features a wonderfully spacious cathedraled great room with open kitchen, dining area, and living room. The cottage has one full bath, two sliding glass doors that open up onto a large front deck which comes complete with patio furniture and outdoor gas grill. The cottage sleeps eight with a downstairs master bedroom having a queen size bed, a downstairs guest bedroom having a double bed, and the larger upstairs guest bedroom having four twin beds.

Amenities include: washer, dryer, dishwasher, satellite TV, VCR, microwave, coffee maker, phone, linens, and dock. Pets are welcome but smoking is not permitted.

The Sunset Cottage is available from May through October.

June 14 - June 28: $775
June 28 - August 30: $1,300
August 30 - September 6: $775
September 6 - November 1: $700

$400 refundable security deposit for damage/excessive cleaning costs.
