This private three bedroom villa is perched on rocky ledges at the tip of Ford's Island off of Hancock Point in Hancock, Maine. The cottage is the only dwelling on the 3 acre island, and is just a two minute stroll across the boardwalk from where vehicles are parked on the mainland.

From the cottage's master bedroom suite, living room, dining room, and over-water deck, guests are treated to grand ocean views with Bar Harbor and the mountains of Acadia as the backdrop. Mount Desert Island with Acadia National Park and Bar Harbor are only a 30 minute drive away. Visitors may also choose to travel east to view the crashing surf at Acadia's Schoodic Peninsula or hike the new trails at Black, Caribou, Catherine's, and Schoodic Mountains.

The cottage features a spacious ocean view master bedroom, dining room and living room with fieldstone fireplace. It also boasts 2 full baths, two guest rooms, large kitchen, small screened in porch, small office area, fully lighted boardwalk to and from the cottage, and an over-water deck complete with patio furniture, lobster steamer and outdoor gas grill.

The cottage sleeps seven with one king size, one queen and three twin beds. The cottage owners operate a lobster company and make them available to renters at reasonable cost.

The cottage also includes 2 satellite TV's, VCR, washer, dryer, dishwasher, coffee maker, microwave, phone, back-up generator power, firewood, and linens. Pets are welcome. Smoking is not permitted.

$500 refundable security deposit for damage/excessive cleaning costs.
